Waihi Beach - Coromandel
Towards the southern end of the Coromandel Peninsula is Waihi town and Waihi Beach.

Waihi beach has many access points, but the most frequented by nudists is from the (2d last) car park before bowentown (on the east side of the road).
Waihi beach is popular for all ages.
Whether you like to swim, sunbathe, or just catch up with friends, it is a peaceful location to enjoy.
Not only is waihi beach a beautiful spot for getting a tan and avoiding the tan lines, it is also the home to the northern(NZ) World Naked Bike Ride, which rides through the town promoting body positivity and other safety messages.
Getting There
Located in the beautiful Western Bay of Plenty and gateway to the Coromandel, Waihī Beach is just 2 hours drive from Auckland, 1.5 hours from Hamilton and 50 minutes from Tauranga.
Waihī Beach is a great place to base yourself for exploring east coast beaches.
