Member Submission

A valley winds through
a shady forest glade
as I stroll along
in the heat of the day.

The sun warms my body
the breeze cools my heat
the touch of the ground
on the soles of my feet.

I come to a stream
that's reflecting the rays
being sent from the sun
on this warm summers day.

I forget about the job
the demands of the boss
as dip in the stream
and my feet feel the moss.

The cool running water
massages the senses
as every part of my being
envelops the senses.

Too soon I leave the water
with goose bumps all over
then the breeze wraps around me
like the arms of a lover.

All too soon I am dry
as I continue along
with a tune in my head
of some familiar song.

I find a grassy clearing
and sit down to eat
to refuel my body
with a welcomed wee treat.

As the hunger retreats
and I lay down to rest
I Reflect in the moment
how this is the best.

The breeze in the grass
the sun on my skin
the warmth of the day
and the feelings within.

Connected to the world
in so many ways
and with no use for clothes
the world is a daze.

No restrictions no barriers
chafe and pinching no more
just freedom and sensing
and feelings galore.

I think of designers
and fashions so faked
with those uncomfortable feelings
your better off naked.
