Dear Friends,
Well, here it is - the last newsletter before the
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
23 August 1986
at 2 pm
St. Barnabas Scout Hall
Clive Road, Mt Eden
Afternoon tea will be served after the meeting.
The Rules require the attendance at an Annual General Meeting of a quorum of 30 paid up members.
As mentioned in an earlier newsletter, an important matter to be discussed is the proposed "crack-down on nudity" by the Takapuna City Council. Your opinions and experience are valuable and will be of great assistance in deciding the part (if any) which the Free Beach Group should adopt in this matter.
We would also like to know your feelings about the future direction of the Group.
AFTER THE MEETING a free bus will leave the Scout Hall for our Annual Swim Night at the Waiwera Sapphire Pool. The charge is $18.00 per person — the first increase for many years. Please do not bring glass bottles — plastic soft drink bottles, casks or cans. Plastic glasses will be supplied, and a hearty supper with tea or coffee if you wish.
A new Beach List has been produced and will be available after the A.G.M.
AN INVITATION: to the North Shore Nudist Club, Orewa,

And do bear in mind the summer activities:
MAYOR ISLAND, ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND 1987
NGATAHOA LODGE, WAITANGI WEEKEND 1987
Adele Stevenson of Papamoa has been busy organising these two.
CAMPING SPOTS: John Riggir has details of a secluded property near Thames where you can put up a tent and stay, or visit nearby places of interest. Ph. 565—219
A member near Mangawhai Heads offers a spot to put up a tent. There is no swimming on the property but it is only 2 km from Mangawhai Ocean Beach and about 5 km from the beautiful beach north of Te Arai Point. Lois has details of this.
As President, I would like to thank the outgoing committee for their loyalty and support during the past year, which has made my own position very worthwhile.
Best wishes to you all, and I look forward to a good turn-out at the A.G.M.
Yours sincerely,
