Following a South Island seminar held in Mid-1986, Wellington member Roy Cox, decided to rectify a shortcoming in communication which had been identified there. The quarterly Naturist magazine did not fully detail future club events; and individual club newsletters did not always offer adequate detail to cover the happenings at their own (or other) clubs.
Thus was born: In Touch - "The NZNF bi-monthly supplement".
It was circulated with each club's newsletter so that their members could keep track of the broad range of events, both: in other clubs and those affecting the Federation itself (eg: Rallies).
In Touch also included constructive critical comment on 'the way things were - and could be' in terms of the running of clubs and their promotion.
A year after Roy had a change of job which precluded him from carrying on with it, Edna Barnes took it on. Publication ceased in the early 90s.
