The nippy days of winter are starting to close in, and I know how much you look forward to all our hot-water winter events.
The sauna these days is sporting one of Stan Foster's beaut massage tables, so be sure to bring your massage oil.
Swimarama will be run again this year by Pat and Tony Davis - good to see you back! Remember, Kentucky Fried are open just over the road.
Parakai swim nights are already underway for the year, it's a lovely relaxing evening - try it, if you already haven't!
If you want to meet people, come along, this is where you'll find us, all eager to make new friends. I know, we're all shy to start off with, but that's what FBG is for, to warm you up gently.

This is a special invitation for us to visit the North Shore Sun Club, and their barbecues have been well attended by FBG members in the past. You are assured of having a wonderful day, so come along and enjoy their lovely grounds and amenities, plus a great barbecue meal. A nice winter's drive out into the country.

URETITI
Fourteen members and friends enjoyed Easter at Uretiti despite strong winds (including two who didn't actually meet up with the others). It's a beautiful beach with a really good camping ground - lots of sheltered spots among big pine trees, good facilities, and ideal for our kind of nude camping. Next time, wear your T shirts take your FBG towels, read your Beach List so you don't get lost (I won't tell who!), and DON'T drive into the soft sand (I won't tell who that was, either!) Altogether, lots of fun, sun, fishing, meeting old friends, and making new ones. Hope you'll join us next time!
SUN CLUBS
Just a reminder, that you have no right to enter the grounds of any Sun Club, unless you are also a Sum Club member. We are sometimes invited to Sun Club socials, such as the barbecue at North Shore Sun Club, but otherwise, PLEASE KEEP OUT.

We are coming to the end of another good year in the life of the Free Beach Group, a year of hard work for some members of the committee. I would especially like to mention Jim, who has undertaken all sorts of the odd jobs that need attending to.
Well, I have bought another typewriter, a little old and wonky, but it has an asterisk* which I need for the Directory, and you will notice I am having lots of fun with it - putting them everywhere ***
