From Waiuku, turn west at the sign to Kariotahi, 8 km to the beach. Walk south or drive north.

What's there:-

Good vehicle access. There's a motor camp at the end of Sandspit Road, on the Waiuku Estuary. Or call in at Bill Shelley's place: 119 Sandspit Rd.
