From Kaitaia drive 20 km north through Awanui, then Waiharara on SH 1; it's a further 3 km to the first turn right, into Kaimaumau Rd, and then 4 km to the Far North Emu farm. (There's a green button on the fence, to the right, to unlock the gate.)

What's there:-

Rosco & Gerri's place has plenty of room for camping and parking of motor homes; there is a caravan on site; also, in the house, double and twin bedrooms upstairs. Behind the property, right on the shoreline there is easy access to the ocean and two kayaks available for use. (East Beach is a further 10 km - at the end of the road.)
