Villa du Soliel

Most of us going to Waiheke would like to visit Little Palm Beach. Based on their own international travel experience, John and Clare Campbell have private B&B accommodation for naturists at Surfdale - only five minutes away from Little Palm Beach - but they are happy to meet the boat and drop you off at that beach (or accompany you there, if you wish) and return you to the wharf.

Waiheke Island is known for its boutique vineyards, safe beautiful sandy beaches, great restaurants and warm friendly community. It was voted by Lonely Planet in 2015 as the 5th best travel destination worldwide. Their property is on the main bus route and they are within walking distance to Goldie, the first vineyard on the island, and also Kennedy Point Winery where you can enjoy gorgeous platters and wine tasting. They will make your stay on this beautiful island quite memorable.

They have one room with a king size bed and en suite bathroom. There is a sitting room, complete with TV and loungers. This room can also provide for additional guests travelling in the same party if required. Please note: the guest accommodation does not have a full kitchen. There is a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, fridge and gas (Webber) BBQ, but no oven or cook-top. A full cooked breakfast or healthy homemade granola with yoghurt and fruit is included in the price.

Guests have their own sunny courtyard and use of a spa. If you are staying more than a day or so, other beaches to visit might include Onetangi (east end, which is a direct trip from the gate) or possibly Hooks Bay which is only a five minute walk away and normally deserted, except maybe on peak season weekends.

They have too many nearby amenities to list! But for starters there are cafés, world renowned restaurants and vineyards, shops and tours, cinema, supermarket, beaches, fishing. They also offer free: Wi-Fi, Netflix and loads of local information on what to do, like listen to native birds all day, and star gaze all evening!

Their preferences are: no children, pets or smokers. (Note that thanks to Winston Peters, those with the Super Gold Card, can travel free to Waiheke on the Ferry!) For tariffs, see airbnb.

Please contact John & Clare Campbell via: or 021 813 522 beforehand, as they may well be booked out during the season - especially at the weends!
