Waikawau Bay 

The distance from Coromandel is about 40 km.

Where:-

From Colville, 28 km north of Coromandel, go 6 km then turn right and follow the signs 5 km to Waikawau Bay. Pass the sign "Waikawau Bay Farm Park" where there's a picnic area 500 m on left at pine trees and access to the clothes-optional end of the beach. The campi DoC camping ground is 2 km further, at the far end of the beach.

What's there:-

DoC charge: $9/p/night. Water, toilets, no animals. (One of the items in DoC's rules is: "No nudity in camp" - the same wording as at Uretiti - actually code for: don't cause complaints.)
