This year we are not making specific times to go to the beach. The Canterbury weather is too unpredictable and so we intend to make every good day at the weekend, a beach day. Don't forget we are now going to be to the north of Spencer Park beach about 150m to the left of the Heyders Road access to the beach. Please remember to take a FBNZ flag with you and display it.

Future activities include:

We hope to organise some walking expeditions. If you are interested please contact the Walking Coordinator (Grant) on 027 235 9978 or

The committee is trying hard to make the branch activities more varied and interesting. For activities to be successful, we rely on your enthusiasm. So please contact the coordinators with suggestions and offers of help. Also, you can contact any committee member to make suggestions for different activities. If you just prefer to have a relaxing and sociable time together with like minded friends, that's no problem either. We don't intend to reduce our pool nights. Also we do not want to make you sweat on the beach. Come and watch, or just doze if you prefer.

Membership enquiries should be made via the contact page.
